ok, ok, i'm gonna start my story now! it's gonna be pretty damn crappy due to my lack of talent, but what the Hell! Be as critical as you like, people! ^-^

The streetlight switched on. A bad sign. Terry Drugg had stalled for too long.
She dug her bare feet into the sand to stop her swing, kicking up a cloud of sand. "Hades," she yelled, "C'mere, boy!"
Terry hopped off the swing & made her way towards the steel gate where she'd hung Hades's leash & burried her sandals. As she dug them out, she called again: "Hades! C'mon, let's go!"
But there was no response. No barks. No howls. No ash-colored pit bull in sight.
Terry stood up, her grey eyes scanned the surrounding area. She was alone. She cupped her hands around her mouth like a megaphone. "Hades! Come on, we gotta go!"
Silence.
She began to worry.
Terry slipped onto her sandals, still half-burried in sand, & grabbed the leathery leash. She ran out of the playground area & into the field. He wasn't there, either.
"Come on, Hades!" she was shouting, as though he could understand her, "This isn't funny! We gotta go home now!"
Crap! This is not good! How'm I supposed to find him in a place so huge!? And still get home by seven!?
Yeah, I know, this story sucks balls. I've got no talent; leave me alone! I gotta stop right now, but I'll (hopefully) finish up soon. Bye! |
